Once you submit all additional documents requested, your financial aid application is complete. The information you submitted will be reviewed for completeness and accuracy and UCR will compute your eligibility for financial aid. If you have been admitted to attend UCR, you will receive notification of your financial aid awards available to accept or decline on-line on GROWL. Your financial aid offer details the types and amounts of financial aid that you are eligible to receive. Your on-line financial aid offer will include information regarding your cost of attendance, your expected family contribution, and the quarterly award amounts of the funds that have been awarded to you. Notification of financial aid offers are sent to all eligible students beginning in the spring.
Accept your awards online on GROWL as soon as you receive notification that you have been awarded. If you accept any student loans and you are a new borrower at UCR, you will also need to submit promissory notes and complete loan entrance counseling online before your awards can be disbursed.

Entrance counseling is available at the Student Business Services website at www.sbs.ucr.edu. Select the link for the correct type of loan(s) that you are receiving.
Failure to accept your financial aid awards and submit any required loan promissory notes and complete loan entrance counseling, by the stated deadline may result in partial or full cancellation of financial aid awards. Correspondence will be sent to your student web mail account via e-mail year round, so be sure to check your account regularly at https://webmail.ucr.edu/. Don't lose out on financial aid because you're not reading your webmail!
If there are any changes in your expected housing plans or enrollment status, or if you will be receiving any other resources (such as outside scholarships, assistance from the Graduate Division, Veterans benefits, etc.,) be sure to mark these changes on the financial aid revision website on GROWL at http://www.growl.ucr.edu.
Check your award status on GROWL! Continuing students and new admitted students who have received a UCR PIN number can check the status of their financial aid awards on GROWL at http://www.growl.ucr.edu at any time. If you have any questions, you can reach us via e-mail at finaid@pop.ucr.edu.
