How do I apply for scholarships?

New entering undergraduate students apply for scholarships on the UC Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships during November prior to the award year. Continuing Student Undergraduate Scholarship Applications are available on-line in December for the following award year and must be submitted in February. Scholarship awards are based on a student's academic achievement. Honorary scholarships are not based on financial need. All need based awards are subject to compliance with UCR priority on-time aid application deadlines. Appointment letters for new Regents Scholars are mailed in March. Continuing Regents Scholarships are awarded to renewal students who meet all priority application filing dates and GPA requirements, based on the availability of funding. Other UCR scholarship notifications will be included in financial aid offers. In addition, scholarships are available through various corporations, civic organizations, and clubs, as well as from some parents' employers.
