Whether you live in the Campus Apartments or the Residence Halls, it is critical that you review your housing contract or a schedule of housing deadlines. You will have a first housing payment due sometime between May and September. Please read this packet of information carefully. Although financial aid disbursements will be credited to your housing charges in the fall, according to federal regulations financial aid may not be disbursed until ten days prior to the first day of classes. Therefore, it is your responsibility to make your first payment from personal resources. You may make this payment by check or credit card. - Financial aid disbursements will be applied to University housing charges for the residence halls or campus apartments at the beginning of fall quarter after fees and any past due charges have been paid. If you have a remaining credit balance after past due charges, fees, current housing charges, and any other institutional charges on your student account and current housing charges have been paid from your financial aid, you will receive the balance in a refund. Please read the terms of your housing contract carefully to determine when your subsequent housing payments are due. It is your responsibility to pay by future payment deadlines from your financial aid refund or other personal resources.

If you are in the residence halls or campus apartments during the fall quarter, you will have a housing payment due in December according to the terms of your contract. Please keep in mind that winter financial aid disbursements will not be available until January. It is your responsibility to make your housing payment when it is due from your personal funds, since winter financial aid will not yet be available.
