In order to maintain eligibility for financial aid, you must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 as an undergraduate student or 3.00 as a graduate student. You must also complete the minimum number of units associated with the number of terms you have been enrolled, which are printed in the schedule in these publications. In addition, you must complete your program within the normative time frame established for undergraduate, Teaching Credential, or graduate students. You will be informed by the Financial Aid Office if you fail to maintain satisfactory academic progress or run out of quarters of eligibility and will be notified of the procedures to appeal for continued financial aid eligibility. Funding for students requesting an extension of eligibility for additional quarters may be limited. Undergraduate students who have been enrolled for 16 or more quarters are approved are not eligible for University aid for enrollment in a 17th or 18th quarter. They may continue to receive federal aid. Students are ineligible for all federal, state, and University aid after their 18th quarter of enrollment, but may apply for Alternative Loan funds to compete their degrees.
